🧩 What Is Chemical Magic Lab?
Chemical Magic Lab is an exciting, hands-on science workshop where children explore colourful reactions and surprising changes — and learn how scientists tell the difference between real chemical reactions and effects that only look magical.
Through carefully designed, safe experiments, students mix everyday substances, observe colour changes and bubbling effects, and investigate whether changes are reversible or irreversible. Along the way, they discover that chemistry is not about tricks — it’s about observing carefully, testing ideas, and explaining changes using evidence.
This workshop is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and introduce chemistry concepts in a fun, memorable, and meaningful way.
🔍 What Young Scientists Will Do
During the workshop, students will: • 🎨 Compare colourful setups to decide which changes are real chemical reactions • 🫧 Investigate bubbling experiments to find out where the bubbles really come from • 🧪 Test whether changes can be reversed — or are permanent • 🧠 Make predictions, observe carefully, and explain what happened and why • 🏅 Earn the “Junior Chemical Magician” title by completing all experiments Every activity is designed to amaze first — then challenge students to think like scientists.

• Primary school students (recommended P3–P6) • Curious learners who love colourful experiments • Children who enjoy hands-on learning and asking “why?” No prior chemistry knowledge needed.

At the end of the workshop, students will choose one experiment and explain: • What changed • What evidence shows whether a chemical reaction happened • Whether the change was reversible or irreversible Only students who can observe, explain, and support their answers with evidence will earn the title: 🏅 Junior Chemical Magician
