Terms & Conditions

1. Overview

These Terms govern your use of STBB ("Platform"), operated by STBB Green Trade. By using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Roles and Responsibilities

Tutors: Must provide accurate information and honor accepted assignments.
Parents: Must provide honest tuition requirements and make prompt payments to tutors.
Platform: Acts only as a matching facilitator. We are not the employer of tutors.

3. No Guarantee of Assignment

We do not guarantee job matching. Selection depends on compatibility, availability, and parent preferences.

4. Commissions & Fees

Tutors may be required to pay a commission fee upon successful assignment confirmation. This will be communicated in advance for each job.

5. Assignment Confirmation

Tutors should only accept assignments they are committed to completing. Last-minute cancellations may result in account suspension.

6. Misuse of Platform

We reserve the right to remove users who:

Submit false information
Harass other users
Violate Singapore laws or ethics

7. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for disputes between tutors and parents. However, we will mediate where necessary to ensure fairness.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

T&C should be defined according to the specific needs and nature of each website. For example, a website offering products to customers in e-commerce transactions requires T&C that are different from the T&C of a website only providing information (like a blog, a landing page, and so on).

T&C provide you as the website owner the ability to protect yourself from potential legal exposure, but this may differ from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, so make sure to receive local legal advice if you are trying to protect yourself from legal exposure.
