🥷 What Is Forces Ninja Lab?

Forces Ninja Lab is an interactive science workshop where children don’t just learn about forces — they experience and investigate them like real scientists.

Through mystery-style ramp challenges, game-based friction tests, and an engineering design mission, students uncover how pushes, pulls, gravity, and friction affect motion in the real world — using evidence, not guessing.

This workshop is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and prepare students for future Primary Science learning — especially the P6 Forces topic.

🔍 What Your Child Will Do

During the workshop, students will: 🕶️ Investigate hidden ramp challenges to infer how slope affects speed and distance 🎲 Test different surfaces through a game-based friction roulette 🚗 Design and improve a simple car — with only one push allowed 🧠 Observe results, compare evidence, and explain outcomes using science reasoning 🥇 Earn a “Forces Ninja” badge by completing hands-on missions This is not a lecture — it’s learning by doing, testing, and thinking.

👶 Who Is This For?

- Primary 3 to Primary 5 students - Curious learners who enjoy hands-on challenges - Students who learn best by experimenting, not memorising No prior science knowledge required.

🛡 Safety First

- Child-safe materials only - Clear instructions and close supervision - No sharp edges or small loose parts - Structured movement to ensure safety during activities Parents can be assured the workshop is safe, structured, and purposeful.

📘 What Your Child Will Learn (MOE-Aligned)

The workshop supports key Primary Science skills and concepts, including: - Effects of pushes and pulls on motion - How friction can slow down or speed up objects - How slope (height) affects speed and distance - Observing, measuring, and comparing results - Making predictions and explaining cause-and-effect using evidence These experiences build strong foundations for P6 Forces concepts, introduced in an age-appropriate and engaging way.
